Jorge Ramos and Maria Elena Salinas Reunite On Jorge Ramos: Asi Veo Las Cosas For Unprecedented Midterm Election Coverage
MIAMI, FL, September 29, 2026 — Tres Alebrijes today announced an unprecedented reunion in Spanish-language journalism in the United States. María Elena Salinas, one of the country’s most recognized and influential journalists and news anchors, will join Jorge Ramos on his digital platform Jorge Ramos: Así Veo Las Cosas to present “TU VOZ - TU VOTO,” a series of special programs focused exclusively on the upcoming midterm elections.
After nearly 10 years, María Elena Salinas and Jorge Ramos are coming together again for the Latino community to offer comprehensive election coverage amid a tense political climate. Analysts, reporters, influencers, real-time results, an interactive map of key races and a panel of prominent guests will be part of this effort led by Jorge Ramos, with the goal of delivering independent, transparent and accessible journalism through digital platforms.
“TU VOZ - TU VOTO” will begin on October 6 with a series of special programs airing every Tuesday. The series will focus on some of the most critical issues at stake for the community, including the high cost of living, the conflict in Iran, immigration and the country’s political future. The program will also feature a special collaboration with Factchequeado, the U.S.-based fact-checking and media literacy organization focused on combating Spanish-language misinformation affecting Latino communities, to provide fact-checks and call out misinformation in real time.
Coverage will expand during election week with special programs airing the day before and the day after voters go to the polls. The initiative will culminate on election night, November 3, with an eight-hour live broadcast from the Así Veo Las Cosas election center, featuring correspondents reporting from key states where the Hispanic vote could play a decisive role in determining control of the U.S. Congress.
