N+ Univision Leads Spanish-Language News Ratings Across August Time Slots

MIAMI — N+ Univision reached 16.3 million viewers with its news programming in August and ranked No. 1 among total viewers in Spanish-language news across the morning, noon, evening and late-night time slots, according to Nielsen figures released by TelevisaUnivision.
The company said Noticiero N+ Univision, anchored by Ilia Calderón, averaged 1.3 million viewers and remained the top evening newscast among U.S. Hispanics across key demographic groups. Its noon Edición Digital and late-night Edición Nocturna also ranked first in their respective news slots among adults 18–49 and 18–34 regardless of language.
The results extended beyond the flagship newscast. Despierta América led morning news shows among U.S. Hispanics in total viewers and adults 18–49. TelevisaUnivision said Primer Impacto outperformed Telemundo’s Al Rojo Vivo by double-digit margins in several audience groups, while Esta Semana con Ilia Calderón ranked first among U.S. Hispanics in Sunday morning public affairs programming.
The rankings cover Nielsen’s July 27–August 30 measurement period. TelevisaUnivision’s 16.3 million figure represents the reach of its news programming across the period, while the 1.3 million figure is the average audience for its evening newscast. The company’s “exclusive audience” percentages measure viewers who did not watch specified competing programs under a separate viewing threshold.
