The CT5-V Blackwing's engine is a hand-assembled, supercharged 6.2-liter V8 (LT4). It generates 668 horsepower and 659 lb-ft of torque, accelerates from 0 to 60 mph in 3.4 seconds, and reaches a top speed exceeding 200 mph.
Transmissions: It comes standard with a six-speed Tremec manual transmission with Active Rev Matching and No-Lift Shift. A track-calibrated 10-speed automatic transmission is available as an option.
It has high-performance Brembo brakes with six-piston calipers at the front and four-piston calipers at the rear, with the option of carbon-ceramic discs to reduce unsprung weight and withstand track use.
The 2026 model's exterior design is highlighted by a redesigned and more aggressive front end, featuring an optimized airflow grille for improved cooling. Note that it sits very low to the ground, which impacts aerodynamics, so extra caution is needed when parking.
It features vertical LED lighting with distinctive stacked headlights. It includes aerodynamic carbon fiber packages (splitters, spoiler, and diffuser) that increase downforce at high speeds, along with 19-inch forged aluminum wheels fitted with Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires.
The dashboard features a 33-inch curved LED screen that integrates the instrument cluster and infotainment system with Google Built-In. An attractive leather or microfiber sport steering wheel includes a dedicated V-Mode button. Heated, ventilated, and 18-way adjustable sport seats are also included, along with a Performance Data Recorder for analyzing lap times and telemetry data from the track.For handling dynamics, it relies on the Magnetic Ride Control 4.0 adaptive suspension, which reads the road more than 1,000 times per second to adjust the shock absorbers.

My Mode: Allows individual customization of engine sound, suspension stiffness, steering sensitivity, and brake response. V-Mode: Accessible via the steering wheel button, it allows instant activation of a high-performance configuration tuned by the driver.
It also features Performance Traction Management (PTM), a competition-level traction control system with several sub-levels (Wet, Dry, Sport 1, Sport 2, Race) and an electronic limited-slip differential (eLSD) to optimize rear traction.
