MIAMI — The Latin Songwriters Hall of Fame has unveiled its 2026 class of inductees and special honorees for the 13th annual LA MUSA Awards, set for October 14 at Miami’s Flamingo Theater.

This year’s Hall of Fame class includes Yoel Henríquez, Danny Daniel, Kike Santander, Sergio George, Mario Quintero Lara and Gian Marco, bringing together influential creators whose careers span salsa, tropical music, Latin pop, regional Mexican music and the singer-songwriter tradition.

Actor Jason Canela and singer-songwriter MŌRIAH will host the ceremony.

The evening will also include a posthumous tribute to Cuban music icon Celia Cruz, who will receive the 2026 LA MUSA Legacy Award. Lupita Infante will be presented with the LA MUSA Elena Casals Award, while Mayimba Music founder Marti Cuevas will receive the Ralph S. Peer Publishers Award. ASCAP executive director Beth Matthews is set to receive the LA MUSA Founders Award.

Founded in 2012 by songwriters and producers Desmond Child and Rudy Pérez, the Latin Songwriters Hall of Fame was created to recognize the writers behind some of Latin music’s most enduring songs while developing future generations of composers.

The Miami ceremony will bring together songwriters, performers, producers, publishers and music executives, with the 2026 class highlighting the increasingly global footprint of Latin songwriting — and the creators behind the hits.
