The acclaimed producer, known as the “King of Modern Salsa,” introduces an exclusive Producer Pack as part of Apple Creator Studio, making his musical legacy accessible to creators around the world following his recent induction into the Latin Songwriters Hall of Fame.

New York, NY – November 5 , 2026 – Multi-award-winning producer, arranger, and pianist Sergio George, known worldwide as the “King of Modern Salsa,” continues to expand his musical legacy through a special collaboration with Apple, bringing his signature sound to the music creation platforms GarageBand and Logic Pro. Through an exclusive Producer Pack, available starting today, the musician shares a collection of loops taken from his own recording sessions and piano sounds that have defined his artistic signature for more than four decades.

This collaboration, part of a broader update to Apple Creator Studio, gives musicians, songwriters, and producers access to the sounds behind some of Latin music’s most iconic productions, offering new generations the opportunity to explore and create using the musical language of one of the industry’s most influential figures. Apple’s initiative also introduces new tools for music production, video editing, image creation, and visual productivity.

The launch comes at a particularly meaningful moment for George, who was inducted into the Latin Songwriters Hall of Fame on October 14 during the 13th edition of the La Musa Awards, held in Miami, where he received the honor from actor and singer Anthony Ramos. The recognition adds to an extraordinary career that includes five GRAMMY Awards and 16 Latin GRAMMY Awards, including four Producer of the Year awards, earned in 2008, 2010, 2013, and 2014.

Born in East Harlem, New York, Sergio George began establishing himself as a defining figure in modern salsa in the late 1980s during his time at RMM Records. His work with legends such as Celia Cruz, Tito Puente, La India, and Marc Anthony helped transform the genre’s sound and bring it to international audiences. Among his most notable productions are works associated with Celia Cruz’s La Negra Tiene Tumbao and Regalo del Alma, Luis Enrique’s Ciclos, and Marc Anthony’s Opus and Pa’lla Voy, whose famous shout “¡Ataca Sergio!” became an inseparable part of his musical legacy.

His influence extends beyond salsa, with collaborations alongside artists such as Jennifer Lopez, Thalía, Daddy Yankee, Maluma, Karol G, Prince Royce, and Leslie Grace, spanning genres including Latin pop, bachata, and urban music. He has also fostered the development of Latin talent through Top Stop Music and projects such as Salsa Giants, whose series of releases has achieved platinum certifications.

As part of this initiative, Apple is presenting an exclusive video in which Sergio George shares his creative process and demonstrates how to make the most of the Producer Pack’s tools. The content will feature subtitles in 38 languages, including Latin American and European Spanish, expanding its reach among creators in different parts of the world.

This significant professional milestone will also be accompanied by a special appearance at the historic 100th edition of the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, on November 26 in New York, where Sergio George will join Anthony Ramos for a musical performance aboard a float. The two artists are currently working on Ramos’s first entirely English-language salsa album, produced by George, and will use the celebration to perform several songs from their upcoming project.

With this collaboration, Sergio George reaffirms his role as one of the great architects of modern salsa, bringing his experience and artistic vision to today’s production tools and inspiring new generations to explore the possibilities of a genre that continues to evolve and transcend borders.

The Sergio George Producer Pack will be available starting November 5, 2026, for Apple’s GarageBand and Logic Pro.
