A new design that maintains the mold of a compact hatchback vehicle with harmony in its front and side lines sitting on 17-inch aluminum wheels, we are already experiencing "Christmas in July" with an impactful 2027 model.

Its interior is not far behind in modifications, featuring a spacious console with a storage compartment in front of the passenger.

A touch of comfort in the RS model's seats, upholstered in black Evotex with red stitching. This gives a radical change to the electric vehicle we remember; now we find a cabin with two large screens and a panel, the Driver Information Center with an 11-inch screen and another 0.3-inch touchscreen.

Its technical system is based on its 65 kWh battery, which does not use conventional lithium-ion chemistry; instead, it adopts prismatic Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) cells. This technology risks a lower energy density, but offers a longer lifespan, lower production costs, and superior thermal stability.

The DC fast charging power is substantially increased to over 150 kW (more than 2.5 times faster than the previous Bolt). This allows it to recover from 10% to 80% of its charge in just 25 to 26 minutes. With a Level 2 home charger (AC at 11.5 kW), it takes around 6.5 to 7 hours to reach 100%. Personally, I usually plug it into the outlet in my garage whenever I use it, which of course isn't the fastest recommended system, but if you decide to buy a Bolt, it's good to have a faster charger, which you can install either inside your garage or mounted on the wall outside at your house.

Chevrolet provides us with important information about its technical system for electrification:

-It has bidirectional (V2H) capability, meaning it features Vehicle-to-Home technology. Through the GM Energy ecosystem, the car's battery can supply power to support a home's electrical consumption in the event of a power outage.

The X76 Propulsion Unit, a system that utilizes GM's new internally developed permanent magnet synchronous motor, called X76, coupled to the front axle (FWD). This unit has been optimized with silicon carbide inverters to drastically reduce energy and heat losses.

-Power and Torque: It develops 210 hp (156 kW) and an instant torque of 169 lb-ft (230 Nm). This configuration allows it to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in approximately 6.8 seconds.

The estimated range is between 255 and 262 miles per full charge, and its factory suggested base price is $28,995 for the Bolt LT FWD model and $32,995 for the RS FWD model.
