Univision is keeping its Spanish-language news ratings streak intact.

TelevisaUnivision reported that its N+ Univision news division finished October as the No. 1 Spanish-language news division for the 10th consecutive month of 2026, reaching 14 million total viewers during the measurement period.

According to the company’s Nielsen-based results, its daily newscasts posted double-digit audience advantages over their competition among adults 18–49 and 18–34 in every time slot. TelevisaUnivision also said 90% of its news audience among adults 18–49 was not reached by the Big Four English-language broadcast networks’ newscasts.

The results cover September 28 through October 25, giving the company another monthly win across a lineup spanning morning television, midday and evening newscasts, late-night coverage and Sunday public affairs.

At midday, Noticiero Univision Edición Digital ranked as the No. 1 noon newscast regardless of language among adults 18–49 and 18–34, according to TelevisaUnivision. It also led among U.S. Hispanics across all key demographics, delivering double-digit advantages over Noticias Telemundo Mediodía across the major audience categories cited by the company.

The evening edition of Noticiero Univision delivered 1.2 million total viewers and remained the leading evening newscast among U.S. Hispanic total viewers. The broadcast also recorded year-over-year growth among adults 18–34.

TelevisaUnivision said the evening program was the highest-rated news broadcast throughout the day among U.S. Hispanics across all key demographics, outperforming Noticias Telemundo by double-digit margins across major demographic groups.

The company’s late-night operation also posted gains. Noticiero Univision Edición Nocturna ranked first among U.S. Hispanics ages 18–49 and 18–34, and led regardless of language among adults 18–34. Its audience in that younger adult demographic increased by double digits from a year earlier.

The late-night broadcast outperformed Noticias Telemundo en la Noche among adults 18–49 and 18–34, while also topping ABC’s Nightline among adults 18–34, according to the company.

In the morning, Despierta América finished as the leading early-morning news broadcast among U.S. Hispanics across all key demographics. TelevisaUnivision reported double-digit advantages over Telemundo’s competing programming across major demographic categories.

Primer Impacto led the daytime Spanish-language newsmagazine category, with double-digit audience advantages over Telemundo’s Al Rojo Vivo across all major demographics, the company said.

On Sundays, Esta Semana con Ilia Calderón ranked as the No. 1 morning public affairs program among U.S. Hispanics in total viewers, adults 18–49 and adults 18–34.

Beyond the rankings, TelevisaUnivision emphasized limited audience overlap with competing news programs. It reported that 96% of Noticiero Univision’s adults 18–49 audience was not reached by ABC’s World News Tonight, CBS Evening News or NBC Nightly News during the measured period.

That distinction gives the results an advertising angle: the company is positioning its news lineup as a way to reach viewers who are absent from competing English-language news audiences.

The figures cited by TelevisaUnivision are based on Nielsen National People Meter and Big Data Plus Panel measurements using Live+Same Day viewing, excluding specials and sustainers. Reach used a one-minute viewing qualifier; the exclusive-audience comparisons used panel-only data with a six-minute qualifier.
