Premios Juventud 2026 Brings Latin Music, Fashion & Star Power to Marbella

MARBELLA, Spain — Premios Juventud crossed the Atlantic Thursday night, turning Spain’s glamorous Costa del Sol into the center of the Latin entertainment world for a historic 23rd edition at the Starlite Auditorium in Marbella — the first time the awards have been staged in Europe.
Hosted by Alejandra Espinoza, Clarissa Molina and Jesús Vázquez, the TelevisaUnivision ceremony mixed the youthful energy traditionally associated with Premios Juventud with a decidedly Mediterranean backdrop.
And before the trophies, there was fashion.

Kenia Os delivered one of the evening’s biggest red-carpet statements in a dramatic red mermaid silhouette finished with red-and-black feathers, while Venezuelan singer-songwriter Elena Rose opted for a white sequined halter gown. Espinoza went graphic in black and white, and Greeicy embraced Marbella’s summer atmosphere in a colorful silk-scarf-inspired look.
Marc Anthony and Nadia Ferreira also made an elegant entrance, with Ferreira wearing a white tailored suit over a sheer embellished top while Anthony kept things characteristically cool in black. Málaga native Antonio Banderas went Mediterranean classic in a navy suit and open white shirt.

Onstage, the show moved quickly across genres and generations. Farruko, Juan Magán and DJ Rous kicked things off with “Marbella Nights,” the event’s official theme. Greeicy, Mau y Ricky, Natanael Cano, Ángela Aguilar, Christian Nodal, Morat, Wisin, Kenia Os, Xavi and Kapo were among the performers, while Camilo used the international platform for the global release performance of “Árbol.”
Merengue veteran Elvis Crespo made his first Premios Juventud appearance with television world premieres of “Pa’ Bailar” and “La Graciosa,” the latter alongside Spanish star Quevedo. New Latin boy band Santos Bravos also made a splash with “Velocidade.”
The winners reflected just how wide the Latin music map has become. Shakira was named female artist of Premios Juventud, while Bad Bunny took the male artist honor. Karol G’s Tropicoqueta won Album of the Year, and Bad Bunny’s Debí Tirar Más Fotos World Tour was named Best Tour.
Aitana won Best Euro-Song for “Superestrella” and Best Pop Album for Cuarto Azul. Carín León and Alejandro Fernández won Mi Track Favorito for “Me Está Doliendo,” while Fernández also shared wins for “Sin Despedida” with Carlos Rivera and “El Rey” with his late father Vicente Fernández.
Romeo Santos and Prince Royce dominated the tropical field, winning Tropical Hit for “Dardos,” Tropical Mix for “Lokita Por Mí” and Best Tropical Album for Better Late Than Never.

Antonio Banderas, Marc Anthony, Yandel and La Oreja de Van Gogh were additionally recognized as Agents of Change, honoring cultural impact and social commitment beyond entertainment.
But perhaps the evening’s biggest statement wasn’t any single trophy. By planting Premios Juventud in Marbella, TelevisaUnivision effectively underscored something the music business has been demonstrating for years: Latin entertainment is no longer confined by geography.
From Miami and Mexico City to Madrid and Marbella, Latin music isn’t crossing over anymore.
It’s already global.
