NOTICIAS UNIVISION Broadcasts the First Spanish Language Republican Primary Debate with FOX News


Ilia Calderon will co-moderate alongside FOX News Media’s Stuart Varney & Dana Perino A full day of coverage kicks off at 7 a.m. ET broadcast on UNIVISION and streaming on ViX


MIAMI, FL – September 22, 2023 – TelevisaUnivision’s award-winning news division, NOTICIAS UNIVISION will broadcast the second Republican Primary Debate of 2024’s presidential election cycle on Wednesday, September 27th, at 9 p.m. ET. The debate will air in Spanish exclusively on Univision. This is the first time a Republican primary debate has been broadcast in Spanish and is an opportunity for Hispanic voters to hear directly from the candidates on issues that are important to them.


NOTICIAS UNIVISION’s Ilia Calderón will co-moderate the first Spanish Language broadcast of a Republican primary debate alongside FOX News Media’s Stuart Varney & Dana Perino at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library in Simi Valley, California. Calderón, the first Afro-Latina to anchor an evening newscast for a major broadcast network in the United States, will also make history at the event by becoming the first Afro-Latina to co-moderate a Republican primary debate.


In addition, NOTICIAS UNIVISION will deploy an unrivaled team of political reporters, commentators, and analysts, to work along with the country’s most trusted Hispanic anchors and provide its community the best comprehensive coverage.
