Lin-Manuel Miranda To Receive Corazón Latino Award At Miami’s iHeartRadio Fiesta Latina
By Hollywood Latino
Lin-Manuel Miranda will receive the 2026 iHeartRadio Corazón Latino Award at iHeartRadio Fiesta Latina on October 17 at Miami’s Kaseya Center, adding a tribute to the Hamilton creator to the concert’s Latin music lineup.
The honor recognizes Miranda’s achievements across theater, film and music, alongside his philanthropic work and support for the Latino community, according to iHeartMedia. Enrique Santos, president of iHeartLatino, will host the event.
Miranda’s influence stretches from Broadway to Hollywood. He created and originated the leading roles in In the Heights and Hamilton, with the latter winning the Pulitzer Prize for Drama and 11 Tony Awards. His screen work includes songwriting for Disney’s Moana and Encanto, as well as his feature directing debut, tick, tick… BOOM!.
The Miami recognition also spotlights a public-service commitment that has remained central to his career. Miranda and his family have supported efforts to expand representation in the arts and strengthen Puerto Rico’s cultural institutions. Following Hurricane Maria, he released the benefit single “Almost Like Praying” to support recovery efforts through the Hispanic Federation.
His return to the title role in Hamilton during its 2019 Puerto Rico engagement helped support another major initiative. The Miranda family, the show’s producers and the Flamboyan Foundation established the Flamboyan Arts Fund, raising $15 million for arts and culture on the island.
At Fiesta Latina, Miranda’s tribute will share the bill with announced performances by Anuel AA, Myke Towers, Farruko, Manuel Turizo, Eladio Carrión, FloyyMenor, Greeicy, Alleh and Rey Tony y Helabusador “Los Titis.”
The event will broadcast across iHeartRadio Latin stations nationwide. Tickets are available through Ticketmaster.
